Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Not all National Trust properties are open yet, and those that are require pre-booking via their website, no later than 15:00 on the day prior to visit.

If you, or any of your party have a new persistant cough, or develop a fever of 38C, we would instead advise you to use the NHS's dedicated website for professional advice.

Winster Market House

Winster Market House was the first property to be acquired by the National Trust in the Peak District in 1906 for £50.
It's a lovely brick built listed building and is now an information room with interpretation panels and a scale model of Winster village.
Standing almost in the centre of the main street, Winster Market House is a dominating feature of the village, and stands as testimony to its once thriving past.
